Asheville rhythm annonuces Dancing, Drums and Dreams: A Rhythmic Celebration of the New Year

Join Asheville Rhythm for their annual New Year’s Eve Celebration ‘Dancing, Drums, and Dreams ~ A Rhythmic Celebration of the New Year’ with music for dancing provided by world music super-group Free Planet Radio and KalimbaMan Kevin Spears.

The festivities will be held at Eliada and will begin at 8:30pm, and will also include a Drum Circle of communal celebration, sweet and savory light fare, inspirational readings and a New Year’s Eve countdown. The evening will close with a sound meditation to usher in 2016 in peace and with calm, focused intention.

Folks are encouraged to bring their drums for the drum circle and their yoga mats if they want to lie down during the Sound Meditation.  Tickets available online at AshevilleRhythm.org (click on ‘Events’) and at the door. Individual: $39 in advance/$44 door. Couples: $69 in advance/$80 door. Seniors (60+): $34 in advance/$40 door. BYOB.
