In a climate of media consolidation where depth and diversity are increasingly hard to find, we need what independent, community radio provides! AshevilleFM is broadcasting at 103.3 on the FM dial in Asheville, NC, and streaming online at AshevilleFM.org with 1.7 million hits per month! With over 60 locally-curated programs produced here in our studios on Haywood Road, AshevilleFM is the place to find the talk and music programming you want to hear.

*You can be part of this project by supporting community radio today!*

103.3AshevilleFM is a volunteer-based, grassroots community radio station created by Friends of Community Radio, a non-profit 501(c)entity. The idea for AshevilleFM was hatched in early 2009, when radio lovers from Western North Carolina came together to serve pipin’ hot sounds and have fun while doing it.

*Our goal is to add to and reflect the rich stew of arts, culture and community involvement that is Asheville*
Our programming is truly free-form, including jazz and comedy, pop and poetry, rock ‘n’ roll and sports talk, world music and local news, hip-hop and health, old-school country and anarchist journalism, blues and kids’ shows, politics and dance music, live simulcasts and Spanish-language programming, as well as spotlights on local non-profits and community causes, with everything in between and more to come!

This is your chance to be part of the community that is 103.3 AshevilleFM. Join us and be one of the first donors during our inaugural Fall Fund Drive!
