Atomic Design and Furnishing of Patton Ave Celebrates Expansion North with Discounts Through End of October

After almost two years at its Patton Avenue location, a local business known for delivering high quality, reasonably priced mid-century furniture is returning to Woodfin, where Atomic Furnishing and Design was first launched in 2014. Atomic’s new location, at 503 Stone Ridge Boulevard, Asheville, N.C. 28804, features an open floor plan and high ceilings to accommodate professional gallery lighting and a lofted feeling of spaciousness.

Our vision has always been to create environments that highlight the artistry of our mid-century and modern furnishings. Our new location gives us the opportunity to create the sense of space and light we have always hoped to achieve in our showroom,” says Megan Walsh, who owns and manages Atomic with her husband, Todd.

While hundreds of Asheville locals have made Atomic’s interior design elements their own over the past three years, the store has been equally successful on social media, with nearly 12,000 Instagram followers. Most recently, an Atomic image was reposted on Etsy’s Instagram account. You too can follow Megan and Todd’s trend-setting account at Instgram.com/atomic_furnishing.

While Megan and Todd are getting the Woodfin location ready, they are celebrating almost two busy years on Patton Ave. for the rest of October by giving local supporters 10 percent off your entire purchase when you mention the move. Atomic will be open regular hours, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Noon to 4 p.m. for the last two weekends at the Patton Avenue location.

Todd says, “Atomic is all about offering the best quality, best designed furniture at a price point that’s accessible to as many people as possible. So we’re happy to be offering a 10 percent discount for the rest of October at our Patton Ave. location. We’re also OK with not moving all this furniture if we don’t have to.”

Atomic Furnishing is open at 1060 Patton Ave in Asheville until Sunday, October 30. They will be reopening on Saturday, November 5 from 10am-5pm at 503 Stone Ridge Boulevard in Woodfin.
