Press release from ACT:

This talking pig is no Wilbur! Asheville Community Theatre (ACT) will present Attic Salt Theatre Company’s The Tale of the Pig as part of the family-friendly theatre series Saturdays at ACT. The Tale of the Pig will begin at 10:00 am. Tickets are $5.00 and are available for purchase at the door, over the phone, or online at www.ashevilletheatre.org.

The Tale of the Pig is a classic European folktale that is brought to life onstage with puppetry – and two actors playing a lot of different parts! The Tale of the Pig is produced by Attic Salt Theatre Company, a professional theatre company helmed by Marci Bernstein and Jeff Catanese and based in Asheville, NC. Attic Salt has previously produced such acclaimed productions as God of Carnage and All in the Timing for adult audiences and Feet Water and The Sultan’s Wife for family audiences.

“We had a huge turnout for our last Saturdays at ACT program,” said Chanda Calentine, Program Director at ACT.  “We hope that even more families will join us at the theatre for shows and all the other fun activities!”
