Head over to Barley’s Taproom & Pizzeria (42 Biltmore Ave.) to hear some of our student ensembles perform live, and bring the family! A portion of food sales throughout the day will be donated back to Asheville Music School, so we can keep sharing the music. Think of the children!

Music Theory 101– Thurs. Sept. 7, 6:00-7:00pm
Music theory is for everyone! Whether you take lessons at AMS or not, you’re welcome to attend this free class. Open to adults and kids ages 14 and up. Led by AMS teacher Kylie Brown.

Interactive Guitar Effects Workshop– Sat. Sept 9, 12:00-1:30pm
So, you’re a young guitarist looking for ways to expand your sound, but you don’t know how to do it. We have a free hands-on workshop for you!
