PRESS RELEASE from Metro Wines
Everyone knows the importance of wine and food pairing, but what about beer and food? Metro Wines is switching it up and will team up with Jersey Mike’s to host a beer and sub pairing on 6-8 p.m. Thursday, June 12 at Metro Wines, 169 Charlotte St., Asheville. The cost is only $5 per person.
We have done extensive research, and believe we have successfully been able to pair beers we sell here at Metro Wines with Jersey Mike’s most popular subs. We have our line up but we will not reveal which beers are going with which subs — we want to see what beers you think pair best.
The subs will be veggie, Italian, club supreme and roast beef. Beers we will be pouring will be Hi-Wire Lager; Green Man ESB, IPA, and Porter; Mama’s Yella Pils and Bells Two Hearted Ale.
