NOVEMBER 19th FILM SCREENING

Thursday, November 19, 7:00 pm
An Evening of Short Films
$5 for BMCM+AC members / $8 for non-members

The Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center in downtown Asheville presents an evening of short films on Thursday, Nov. 19th at 7:00pm. The short films will relate to the current exhibition Convergence/Divergence: Exploring Black Mountain College and Chicago’s New Bauhaus/Institute of Design and will include rarely seen footage of dancer Katherine Litz from Black Mountain College (1951) and students in the Design Workshop at the Institute of Design in Chicago (1944).

The Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center (BMCM+AC) preserves and continues the unique legacy of educational and artistic innovation of Black Mountain College. We achieve our mission through collection, conservation, and educational activities including exhibitions, publications, and public programs.
