Black Mountain News: Asheville’s Tomato Jam Cafe to close this month

From Black Mountain News:

Daniel Wright, chef-operator of Tomato Jam Cafe, said he’s been forced to leave the restaurant and the 379 Biltmore Ave. building he’s leased since 2010.

Tomato Jam Cafe — a breakfast and lunch spot known for its comfort food and grilled cheese sandwiches — will have its last day with Wright at the helm on Dec. 20. Deb Maddox, who owns the building with husband Cory Maddox, said a restaurant will reopen in the same space with a new owner on Jan. 1.
