Blue Ridge Parkway holds “Protecting Our Resources” hike September 16

Blue Ridge Parkway Hike of the Week
Protecting Our Resources”

(Asheville, N.C.) — Join Parkway rangers at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 16 for a moderate, 2 mile round trip hike on a section of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail that overlooks the North Fork Reservoir. Learn about watersheds and how the Blue Ridge Parkway is protecting the animals and plants that call the Parkway home.

Meet at the Glassmine Falls Overlook parking area, located at MP 361.2.

Bring water, wear sturdy shoes or boots, and prepare for changing weather.
