Buncombe County Schools and the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office team up for back-to-school supply drive

Buncombe County Schools and the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office ask the community to join in donating school supplies at the Buncombe County Back to School Supply Drive.

Our children are the most valuable resource we have. I ask our community to help support our students and educators by making a donation to our Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive – Buncombe County Sheriff Quentin Miller.

As we look ahead to our new school year, we so appreciate the ongoing partnership with our School Resource Officers as supporters and mentors for our students. We are grateful to our SROs and the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office for organizing this school supply drive to help all of our students and teachers start the year ready to succeed with the supplies they need. – Dr. Stacia Harris, Director of Communications.

Needed supplies include, but are not limited to, book bags, lunchboxes, pencil boxes, binders, paper, art supplies, pencils, and cleaning wipes.

What: School supply drive for Buncombe County students

Who: Buncombe County School Staff and BCSO School Resource Officers

When: Saturday, August, 19th (10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.) and Sunday, August 20th (10:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.)

Where: Walmart, at 1636 Hendersonville Rd.
