Announcement from Buncombe County Public Schools:
All Buncombe County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay for students on Wednesday, January 30, to allow more daylight for safer morning travel. There will be no buses on icy roads.
Please stay tuned for possible modifications to this decision as we monitor road conditions and campuses overnight.
In the event one or more districts have to be closed, notification will be sent out as soon as possible. Log on to findyourschool. buncombeschools.org to confirm your community school district.
Employees should report to work at their normal time if they are able to travel safely. Please use your best judgment and communicate any schedule changes to your principal or supervisor.
