News release from Buncombe County:
Buncombe County is taking steps to convert underutilized County-owned properties into affordable housing. In March 2023 the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners prioritized sites for potential development of affordable housing, including 50-52 Coxe Avenue.
The public is invited to participate in the next round of community meetings to help determine the future of the Coxe Avenue property. Participants will have the opportunity to review multiple development options proposed for the site and share their feedback with the Affordable Housing Development team.
