CarePartners Home Health receives 5-star rating

From a press release:

CarePartners Home Health Services recently received a 5-star patient satisfaction rating from Home Health Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems. HHCAHPS does a national survey that asks patients about their recent experiences with a home health agency. The results are based on questions such as these:

–                 How often the home health team gave care in a professional way

–                 How well the home health team communicates with patients

–                 Did the home health team discuss medicines, pain and home safety with patients

“We are so proud of our team of professionals here at CarePartners and accolades are always wonderful, but are even more valuable when they come from our patients,” said Kim Adelman, Executive Director of CarePartners Home Health. “Our patients are our top priority and hearing comments from them about our staff such as ‘they always listen,’ ‘they are patient and understanding of my situation’ and ‘they are compassionate and explain things in a way I can understand’ means we are meeting our goal to provide exceptional care, every day.”

Home Health Compare has information about the quality of care provided by “Medicare-certified” home health agencies throughout the nation. “Medicare-certified” means the home health agency is approved by Medicare and meets certain federal health and safety requirements.

CarePartners Home Health survey scores exceed those of the North Carolina and National averages according to information on www.medicare.gov/homehealthcompare.
