COVID-19 vaccines available today for homeless services providers

Announcement from the city of Asheville’s Homeless Initiative Advisory Committee: 

COVID-19 vaccinations are available to homeless services provider staff in any age group at Haywood Street Congregation today, between noon and 2:00 pm. Here are the details:
  • To schedule an appointment for a service provider today between noon and 2:00 pm, contact Brian Methvin at brian@methvin.com.
  • There is also a follow-up event on March 24 to provide the second shot for people who received the initial dose today.
  • Vaccines will also be available 10:30 – 12:30 for people who are homeless and 65 or older.
