The Works of Fian Arroyo & Joe Burleson
Art Opening at the Asheville Area Arts Council

Fian Arroyo has been creating award-winning illustrations and character designs for many Fortune-500 companies including advertising, editorial, corporate, toy & games and publishing for over 20 years. For this show, Arroyo has created an energetic and fun collection of must-see fantasy and pop-surrealism art. Fian relocated to Weaverville from Miami, Florida in 2009 where he is currently being held hostage by his wife, two kids and a mortgage. www.fian.com

Joe D. Burleson has been a nationally acclaimed award-winning artist for over 40 years. His work has been on over 250 book covers spanning the genres of sci-fi, fantasy, mystery, romance and young adult along with advertising, corporate, calendars and collectors plates as well. For this show, Burleson has included a body of work, some that have not been seen before. In 1996, Joe relocated from a very successful 15 year stint in N.Y.C. to his family’s homestead in the beautiful mountainscape of Roan Mountain, Tennessee. www.nightstudio.us
