TRIAD Henderson County along with community partners will provide FREE residential document shredding and drug take back days across Henderson County in 2017. The TRIAD Henderson Document Shred & HOPE RX Drug Take Back event at Entegra Bank on Friday, April 21 helped the community w/ the removal of 4,500 lbs of documents shredded and 58 pounds of unused medications.
The next event is set for Village of Flat Rock on Saturday, May 20 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Flat Rock Village Town Hall. A shred truck will be on site to provide free document shredding (past tax records, bank records, medical documents, etc.) for residential shred only to residents of Henderson County. The event will also have a Drug Take Back (outdated and unwanted prescription and over the counter drugs) component supported by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office and HOPE RX of Henderson County. The day’s mission is to help the community and especially the elderly better protect themselves from scams, frauds, identity theft, abuse and theft.
TRIAD Volunteers, event sponsor employees/volunteers, Law Enforcement and HOPE RX volunteers will staff this event and be on hand to answer questions plus provide resources materials on how to protect yourself from identity theft, fraud, and scams.
