Press release

From Funeral Consumers Alliance of WNC:

Your FCA of WNC 2013 annual meeting will be held on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 4:30-6 p.m. at the First Congressional Church on Fifth Avenue West in Hendersonville. The award-winning film, “Dying Green” will be shown, exploring Dr. Billy Campbell’s vision of using green burials to conserve a million acres of land, beginning with the Ramsey Creek Preserve in Westminster, S.C., the first green burial ground in the U.S., founded in 1998 by Dr. Campbell and his wife, Kimberley.

Billy and Kimberley will be with us to answer questions from the audience. Joining the Cambells on the panel of experts will be Jennifer Duran, funeral director from Forest Lawn Cemetery in Candler, N.C., a designated green cemetery, and Carol Motley, owner of Bury Me Naturally, an Asheville-based business specializing in nontoxic and biodegradable burial products.

Don’t miss this exceptional in-depth view of the growing green burial movement. Bring a friend!
