Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hosting a series of community events from July 25 through 28. The public is invited to any or all of the events, which include:
LinkedIn and Personal Branding workshop (Monday, 1-3pm)
Community Resource Fair (Tuesday, 9am-12noon)
Healthcare Job Fair (Wednesday, 9am-12noon)
Appreciation Day (Thursday, 12pm-3pm)
The Thursday event will include raffles and refreshments.
“These kinds of free, workforce development programs are made possible through the sale of donated items at our Goodwill stores. The community appreciation week is just one way of saying thanks to folks in this area for continuing to bring us those donated items”, said Tara Thompson McCracken, Goodwill’s Asheville District Director for the Workforce Development Center.
