Asheville Police Department (APD) has partnered with local nonprofit Hearts With Hands to disseminate boxes of food and hygiene products to people who may be in need. The nonprofit will deliver the items to APD on Friday which officers will then carry in their vehicles and hand out to any person or family they identify with such needs. This is the second delivery APD is receiving from Hearts With Hands since the partnership began in April.
