On Monday October 19, 2015, the City of Hendersonville and Blue Ridge Bicycle Club announced that a new Fixit station has been installed in Patton Park along the edge of the Oklawaha Greenway Trail. The Fixit station will allow bicyclists the opportunity to make emergency repairs to their bikes while using the trail. The station is equipped with an air pump, tools, and a hanger to hold the bike while working on it. The Fixit station was funded by a grant from the Blue Ridge Bicycle Club. “Donating this station is just one of the many ways we can help establish Hendersonville as a bike friendly community,” explained Joe Sanders, President of the Blue Ridge Bicycle Bike Club.
