January has been recognized as National Blood Donor Month since 1970 with the goal of increasing blood donations during the winter months. Right now, the American Red Cross urgently needs donors to give to ensure that patients don’t have to worry about the availability of blood this winter. It’s the perfect time to resolve to give more life by donating blood. Donors can help more people by inviting a family member, friend or co-worker who has never donated to give too.
