LaZoom resumes operations on Sept. 17 with comedy ghost walking tour

Press release from LaZoom Tours:

The New Paranormal: LaZoom Resumes September 17th

Asheville’s least essential business reopens with a frighteningly hilarious new walking tour

September 2020: LaZoom Tours will resume operations on Thursday, September 17th with a brand new comedy ghost walking tour.

The new 60 minute experience, Ghosted, is a comedian led up-tempo walking tour of downtown historical Asheville. Along the way, over-the-top characters will seemingly pop out from nowhere to add sketch comedy hilariousness.

“Smiling has been in short supply this year. We are so excited to bring laughter and joy back to Asheville once again.” says co owner Jen Lauzon.“Most of us don’t even have a high school education,” added co owner Jim Lauzon “so it took us a long time to figure out how to make this experience safe. It’s not like we’re rock surgeons or anything.”

Ghosted will provide a top notch comedy experience while adhering to strict health guidelines outlined by the CDC and local governments. Group sizes will be limited and LaZoom will require all participants to socially distance and wear masks. Employees will be screened daily, and guests that refuse to wear masks will be shown the door. Ticket holders will have private access to the LaZoom Room (76 Biltmore Avenue) for drinks prior to departure.

To promote social distancing, each tour participant will be given a sanitized listening pack and a brand new pair of headphones. LaZoom has also implemented hazard pay for all employees that will be in effect throughout North Carolina’s State of Emergency.

The tour will be held Thursday through Sunday at 7PM and 8:30PM through November 1st. Guests must be over the age of 17 to participate. Tickets are $34 and are available for purchase at LaZoomTours.com
