Effective August 24, 2019, the Western North Carolina based duo, Swamp Rabbit Railroad will perform under the name Songs of the Folk. The name change comes ahead of several independently released studio singles of the pair’s original songs this Fall. Live video will be released in conjunction with the name change, as well as the launch of a new website, Spotify, and YouTube channel. Swamp Rabbit Railroad performed throughout the Southeast from late 2015 to mid 2019 and released Down by the Riverside in 2017 with Nashville producer Akil Thompson.
