From the Hendersonville Times-News
Story by Gary Glancy
CHICO, Calif. — In just two weeks, more than a dozen Western North Carolina breweries plan to unveil a pair of unique specialty beers they devised and produced in a collaborative effort orchestrated by Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
In late June, about 25 representatives from Asheville-area breweries — including Andy and Kelly Cubbin of Southern Appalachian Brewery in Hendersonville — were invited by Sierra Nevada to its prestigious Beer Camp, a three-day, behind-the-scenes look at nearly every facet of the country’s second-largest craft-beer company at its home base in Chico, Calif.
