PRESS RELEASE from the Mills River Farmers Market
Market Extended through November
The Mills River Farmers Market has extended the market season until Saturday, Nov. 22 Originally the market was scheduled to end on Oct. 25 Market shoppers will have access to fresh and local products for an extra four weeks as a result of this change.
Starting on Saturday, Nov. 1, the hours the market operates will change to 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Please consider supporting your local community through your patronage, and enjoy some of the best late crops and products our local producers have to offer.
Saturday, Nov. 22, will be our final market for the 2014 season, and will also be our Holiday Market. There will be wonderful gift offerings that are grown, produced, and handcrafted by local farms and craftsmen. Mark your calendars for this holiday event!
