NCWorks Career Center to host multiple job fairs this week

Our region’s manufacturing sector continues to grow and the NCWorks Career Center Asheville, 48 Grove Street in downtown Asheville will be hosting job fairs to support hiring events for Mills Manufacturing and Eaton Corporation.

On Thursday, November 19 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at the NCWorks Career Center Asheville Friday Services and Mills Manufacturing will be hosting an Industrial Career Fair seeking Sewing Machine Operators, Inspectors, Machine Operators and Assemblers.  Contact Wendy Whitaker with Friday Services at 828-684-8700 to secure your interview time.

On Friday, November 20 from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at NCWorks Career Center Asheville Eaton Corporation will be hosting a Recruitment Event.  Weekend and 1st Shift Job Opportunities are available for Assembler, Fabrication, and Operator.The weekend shift is Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 12 hour shifts from 7:00 am – 7:30 pm, 36 hours worked, 40 hours paid.Starting pay $14.00 – $15.50 per hour, Overtime premiums of 1.5x and 2.0x pay, Career Growth Opportunities available and full benefits from day one. These hiring events will follow CDC guidelines including social distancing, face coverings, and appropriate sanitation.
