Nutritious Thoughts hosts National Eating Disorder Association walk Sept. 7

Press release from Nutritious Thoughts:

The Nutritious Thoughts team of dietitians is hosting the seventh annual National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) Walk in conjunction with Willow Place. NEDA walks educate affected individuals and their families, while raising vital funds in the fight against eating disorders.  This years’ NEDA walk will be held on September 7 at Carrier Park in Asheville.   “Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of all mental illnesses, which is why the NEDA walks are so crucial because any funds or knowledge gained is helping save a life,” Katie Rhodes, RD, LDN.

Nutritious Thoughts will also be hosting a meet and greet the Thursday before the NEDA walk (September 5) that is open to the community.  Please join us for refreshments and learn more about our dietitians and upcoming groups at Nutritious Thoughts.  Email Katie Rhodes, RD, LDN at Katie@Nutritious-Thoughts.com for more information.

Nutritious Thoughts is located at 31 College Place Building B, Suite 200 and 542 N. Oak St. Hendersonville, NC 28739.  The team specializes in eating disorders, weight management, sports nutrition, as well as intuitive and mindful eating.
