Dr. Eglington is one of the most attentive and compassionate physicians I have ever known. I have worked with many physicians throughout my career, and when I needed an orthopedic surgeon, I accidentally found him___and thank heaven I did! He put my shattered ankle back together when I easily could have lost my mobility! He has been there for me! Please hang around the area!
Congrats to a fellow UNM alumnus! We graduated from the same class.
Dr. Eglington is the best orthopedic doctor around. I have been going to him since 2003. When he was at Blue Ridge Bone & Joint in 2005 he did a total knee for me. I’ve had a few problems but none that weren’t expected. When he left there I followed him to Southeastern Sports Medicine. Then he took a short break to open his own Asheville Biologics and Orthopedic , When it came time I knew I was going to have to have my left knee done. He talked to me about the stem cell therapy that he does . I had the stem cell taken from my own bone marrow last Friday April 17 2015. I felt something happening the very next day. It’s been one week and I am here to tell you this was the best decision that I have ever made. One week later and I can walk without pain and can stand straighter. Even having to pay $2600.00 out of pocket, I’d do it over again in a heartbeat. If you’re thinking about having stem cell therapy done for bone and/or joint issues, don’t hesitate. I’m living proof it works and will talk to anyone who has questions or concerns.
Thank you, Dr. Eglington, for giving me hope and more mobility!

Was the procedure painful? Are you still under Dr. Eglington’s care? What all is involved? Please explain! Thank you!
