Press release from Harvest Records:
On Saturday, April 21, Harvest Records in West Asheville will be hosting an event for Record Store Day. Record Store Day is an annual event which began in 2008 with the intention of spreading the word about local record shops and bringing out the local community. Hundreds of extremely limited releases are available, and Harvest Records has been collecting loads of used vinyl to hit the floor that day.
The event will take place all day on Saturday, April 21, with doors opening at 10 a.m. and the festivities continuing until 8 p.m. Expect tons of free prizes, giveaways and even free beer courtesy of New Belgium. Greg Cartwright of Reigning Sound will play a DJ set at the shop at 4 p.m.
The basement will be open for a gigantic sale of used records, CDs, 78s and 45s, all going for just 25 cents a piece.
For the complete list of exclusive releases, visit https://www.recordstoreday.com/SpecialReleases. Exclusive releases are limited to one copy per album per person and all items are first come, first served. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday!
