Revamped venue The Summit at New Mountain opens Oct. 3

PRESS RELEASE FROM NEW MOUNTAIN:

On Monday, October 3, New Mountain AVL celebrates the grand opening of The Summit — taking over the top floor of the New Mountain complex located at 38 North French Broad Avenue in downtown Asheville.

The grand opening event on Monday Oct. 3 begins at 5 p.m., featuring a free performance from indie outfit Iska Dhaaf at 9 p.m., and is the first of many $3 Holla nights at The Summit. That’s right; order your favorite drink, whatever it may be, and pay just $3. There’s no cover, so bring your friends and dance the night away with your favorite drink in hand.

Attendees can enter to win tickets to many of New Mountain AVL’s upcoming shows, including Desert Dwellers, TAUK, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe and more.

The Summit will open its doors 7 days a week with music, daily drink specials, dancing and bar games like pool and ping pong.

Every Monday, The Summit kicks off the work week with $3 Holla.

On Wednesdays, enjoy The Summit’s signature margaritas for half price and kick back on the patio with a beautiful view of the breathtaking Blue Ridge sunset.

Thursday nights, join us for Summit Jam — a free, weekly open mic that will start on Oct. 13.

Every Friday, SOL Vibes lives on, bringing the best regional electronic producers and DJs to The Summit stage for a free night of dance music.

On Saturday night, Summit hosts an old school dance party for our patrons ages 30 and up, and on Sundays, watch the game and enjoy $2 PBR tallboys.

The Summit will also serve as the venue’s box office during our business hours (Monday, Wednesday-Sunday: 5 p.m. – 2 a.m., Tuesday: 5-11 p.m.) where visitors can purchase tickets to any of New Mountain AVL’s upcoming shows.
