Rose’s Garden Shop and Asheville School of Wine to host weekly Talking Dirty event

Every Wednesday from 5-6 p.m., starting on Jan. 28, Rose’s Garden Shop and Asheville School of Wine will present Talking Dirty — a one hour collaborative tasting geared toward discussing why soil matters for gardeners and vineyards alike.

The “happy hour” event includes a free glass of wine and the opportunity to chat with Joe Scott, resident geologist for Asheville School of Wine, about vineyard soils.

Leading the event is shop owner Rose Bartlett, author of Bartlett Book of Garden Elements, who will “discuss her collection of plants, antiques and accessories,” according to the event’s press release.

Parking is available at Rose’s Garden Shop (211 Charlotte Street) or MetroWines (169 Charlotte Street).
