Season’s at Highland Lake in Flat Rock has planned a weekend of foodcentric events to highlight Valentine’s Day. A special menu will be offered 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, featuring appetizers of lobster bisque and baby arugula salad, entrees of seared North Carolina tilefish, winter herb-roasted North Carolina pork tenderloin and grilled bone-in Manhattan strip and pineapple cornmeal upside-down cake or chocolate croissant bread pudding for dessert.
For those who want to stretch Valentine’s Day into a full weekend, a Sweetheart Brunch Buffet will be served 10:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 15. The buffet will offer a selection of soups, a build-you-own omelet station, entrées, sides and holiday desserts.
The Valentine’s Day dinner is $50 per person. The buffet is $27.95 per person, $13.95 for ages 6-11 and free for ages 5 and younger. To make reservations for either the buffet or the dinner, call 696-9094.

Flat Rock, NC – February 3, 2015. Season’s at Highland Lake will celebrate the Valentine’s Day Weekend with a special “Sweetheart” Brunch Buffet.
Soup selections will feature White Bean, Leek and Ham Soup and Roasted Red Pepper Bisque. Season’s Salad Bar, elaborate fruit display and House Smoked Salmon will also be highlighted.
Breakfast selections will include Season’s “Build Your Own” Omelet Station featuring an assortment of Cheeses, Vegetables and Meats as well as Stone-Ground Grits with Cheddar, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Buttermilk Bisquits, Sausage Gravy and Strawberry Cream Cheese Stuffed “Crème Brûlée” French Toast.
Entrées will include our traditional Salt and Herb Crusted NY Strip Loin, hand carved and accompanied by Horseradish Cream and Au Jus. Other entrées are Rosemary and Sage Brined Pork Loin and Spicy Grilled Chicken Breast with Tomato and Fennel Ragout.
A tempting array of side dishes and holiday desserts will complete this lovely brunch buffet.
