A bill to raise the maximum possible speed limit on North Carolina roads to 75 miles per hour that raced through the state Senate was to be taken up by the House on Tuesday.

As many people in Asheville routinely drive 10-25mph OVER the the limit and with NO traffic enforcement, I would suspect you would see many these idiots driving 90-100mph on I26/40/240. Most of them are incapable of keeping their vehicles on the road now. Should keep the funeral homes busy.
