Strength and endurance fitness studio to open in RAD

Press Release:

Shortly, Rebel Strength and Row House will open its doors. Adam Smith and his crew are setting out to rewrite the Asheville fitness paradigm by creating a space that is equally intelligent and bold. Located near downtown and thriving West Asheville, Rebel is conveniently positioned on Depot Street in the heart of the River Arts District. Occupying what used to be the lobby of the historic Glen Rock Hotel, Rebel is building an indoor rowing studio with both boutique appointments and professional grade athletic equipment.

Of his new endeavor, Adam says, “there is currently a gap in the Asheville fitness environment, and we fully intend to fill that gap. People are having to choose between intensity and smart coaching, and it really doesn’t have to be a choice. You can exercise in a way that pushes limits and produces results without having to sacrifice longevity. It can be methodical and well-designed without being boring. Today’s fitness dynamic is so often an either/or situation, and were here to change that”.

Rebel intends to accomplish this end with a two pronged approach to fitness, encouraging both strength and endurance. This ethos is embodied by their offerings, which include:

  • Group indoor rowing classes under the experienced eye of credentialed instructors, all set to a galvanizing playlist.
  • Small group and private personal training instructed by a trainer with nearly a decade of experience working with clients of all ages and proclivities.
