Teatro del Gusto returns to the Orange Peel, Aug. 17

From a press release:

Teatro del Gusto returns to the Orange Peel, Aug. 17

Join us! Teatro del Gusto returns to The Orange Peel with our growing Circus Cabaret, local food, and live music showcase series. These events are a collaboration between the always zesty Orange Peel, and Madame Onça, producer of Asheville’s annual ABSfest: Americana Burlesque & Sideshow Festival, and purveyor of fine international cabaret talent.

Circus Cabaret! Enjoy an evening of comedy, acrobatics, juggling, and live music with visiting show hosts Paolo Garbanzo and Mark Slomski of Richmond, VA. Their quest for the perfect blend of Old World Cirque and American Roadhouse fun will be seasoned with aerialists, singers, and showgirl dancers to delight the senses.

Special guests for this month include aerialist Phoenix, Indy GoGo and Bitsy Buttons of the Slomski Cabaret, and NYC-bound Asheville showgirl Boo Velvet!

Live Music!  In August, Hank West and the Smokin’ Hots bring their tasty Asheville vibe to the stage.

Local Food! In addition, ticket holders enjoy 15% of your total bill  at nearby participating food venues on Teatro nights.

“We are excited to partner with the Orange Peel in building this series for summers to come,”  says Madame Onça. “The debut of Teatro in July was fantastic, bringing circus arts, comedy and dessert together under one big tent. Let’s do it again!”
