The Blind Pig chef Mike Moore to participate in Charlotte fundraiser for No Kid Hungry

Asheville chef Mike Moore of The Blind Pig is participating in a Charlotte fundraiser for No Kid Hungry’s efforts in North Carolina. The event takes place at Mimosa Grill on Saturday, Sept. 12, with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m., and dinner at 7 p.m.

On September 12th, Mimosa Grill Executive Chef, Thomas Marlow, and Upstream Executive Chef, Scott Wallen, will host an exclusive dinner benefitting No Kid Hungry, which is dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America. The event will also feature nationally renowned guest chefs all united for a cause: ensuring all children in this country have the healthy food they need, every day.

The multi-course dinner will be preceded by a cocktail reception and will feature a live auction in which guests can bid on a variety of luxury culinary and travel items. All proceeds from the event support No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger across the country and right here in North Carolina.
