From Dec. 26 to Jan. 1, the Lindy Focus heated up the dance floors at West Asheville’s Crowne Plaza. The annual event brings together devotees of swing dance:
“What started as a small-town, basement party all about the original swing dance has become one of the world’s largest festivals of its kind, celebrating early jazz and swing music of the first half of the 20th century, and all its associated dance forms,” say organizers.
