Press release from the Hillary Clinton campaign:
On Monday, October 3, U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar will campaign for Hillary Clinton in Asheville.
In Asheville, Senator Klobuchar will co-host an LGBT community discussion with Equality NC Executive Director, and North Carolina State Representative, Chris Sgro. During the roundtable, Senator Klobuchar and Representative Sgro will discuss the negative impact HB2 has had on Asheville’s LGBT community as well as the economy, and will highlight Hillary Clinton’s record of fighting to break down barriers for Americans from all walks of life.
With more people voting in this election than any in history, Senator Klobuchar will also encourage voters to take advantage of one-stop early voting, which begins on October 20 and urge North Carolina voters to check their registration status at iwillvote.com.
