Violinist Stefan Jackiw signs CDs at MetroWines, Feb. 11

Highly regarded around the world for his musicianship, Violinist Stefan Jackiw will be @MetroWines to sign his CD on Thursday, February 11th from 6 to 7pm. We will be tasting wines from Robert Walter Selections, a local Asheville Importer. This event is “on the house @MetroWines” and parking is free, easy and close.

Recognized as one of his generation’s most significant artists, Stefan Jackiw is captivating audiences with playing that combines poetry and purity with an impeccable technique.

Hailed for playing of “uncommon musical substance” that is “striking for its intelligence and sensitivity” (Boston Globe), Jackiw has appeared as soloist with the Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco Symphony Orchestras, among others.

On Saturday, February 13th, Asheville joins this notable list as Stefan Jackiw performs Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D major with The Asheville Symphony Orchestra at Thomas Wolfe Auditorium on Saturday, February 13th.
