Asheville’s booming craft beer scene continues to attract national attention. NBC’s “Today Show” featured an Oct. 18 segment spotlighting Wicked Weed and Highland Brewing companies as well as New Belgium Brewing’s investment in the area.

Craft beer is a growing $14.3 billion industry with 3,093 breweries across the U.S., and “nowhere is that more apparent than Asheville, North Carolina, which has the highest ratio of breweries per capita in the country,” according to the report.
