Quiet Hollers are following an evolutionary path that makes you wonder what the future holds for them. With three full-length releases to date, they’ve featured a wide range of sounds and aren’t feeling the constraints of belonging in any particular genre of music. Amen Breaks is the band’s most recent record, coming out last summer, and has the musicians shedding past sounds in favor of a more indie-pop flavor. Lyrical themes include mental health and spirituality.
The band has been burning up the highways for almost a year in support of that record while continually working towards the next one. Quiet Hollers made a recent tour stop at The Grey Eagle and performed three songs exclusively for Xpress and Acoustic Asheville.
