Acoustic Asheville: Resonant Rogues’ kickstarter countdown

Asheville’s Resonant Rogues have been hard at work raising funds to record an album at Echo Mountain Studios. The band’s Kickstarter campaign runs through Sunday, Dec. 21. At press time the band was halfway to its goal of $7,500.

“Their meaningful lyrics and infectious melodies will catch your ear and move your feet,” says the band’s website. “Gypsy jazz and traditional eastern European music blend seamlessly with American folk traditions like old-time, blues and vintage hot jazz.”

This week, in addition to performances at Eleven on Grove (Tuesday, Dec. 9, 8:30-11 p.m.), Foggy Mountain Brew Pub (Thursday, Dec. 11, 9-midnight) and Cork & Keg (Friday, Dec. 12, 8:30-11 p.m.), they’ll take the stage at New Mountain for a Kickstarter Countdown show on Sunday, Dec. 14. Hank West & the Smokin’ Hots share the bill. 8 p.m., Free.
