The Big Crafty, Asheville's biggest craft fair, kicked off Dec. 7 at the Asheville Art Museum.

With the holiday season comes a craft fair for every interest and style. From heritage crafts and juried works to DIY pieces and indie-crafts, WNC offers something for everyone. On Sunday, Dec. 7, Big Crafty took over the Asheville Art Museum with handmade items ranging from paper goods and ceramics to metalwork and apparel to jewelry and paintings. As much a social outing as a shopping event, Big Crafty — which takes place twice each year — is always well-attended by both vendors and visitors.
