Of “The Difference,” a press release notes that it’s the first time Gundersen has appeared in one of his own videos. “For the first time I felt comfortable being a part of the narrative,” he says. “I’ve always been drawn to conceptual music video, [and] I’ve never wanted to be a part of a some lip syncing video, circa late 1990s radio rock.”
