Local singer-songwriter recently completed the music video for “Scars,” the first single from her new EP, Orbit. The record was recorded at Echo Mountain Studios last summer. The video, a collaboration with local filmmaker and director Andrew Anderson, was shot at Skinny Dip Falls. The meditative movement of water is well matched by the expressive piano playing and the gorgeous natural scenery sets the perfect backdrop from Capone’s soul-baring lyrics and aching delivery. “If I’m falling, I want to know you’re close,” she sings. “With love this open, I feel so damn exposed.” Find more of Capone’s music, info and upcoming shows at briecaponemusic.com.
