Rocketman blasts onto red carpet for start of Action Fest 2012

About 15 seconds over Pack Square — that’s all it took. Off with a whoosh, the hydrogen peroxide-powered rockets lifted Rocketman up, around the Vance Monument and a short hover over the red carpet leading into Pack Place. Landing and ditching the rockets, the tuxedo-clad flier strode into the building. Just another day of flying around.

If you missed the flight rocket belt pilot Dan Schlund will be flying again at 2pm on Saturday April 14th at the Carolina Cinema on Hendersonville Road. For more on Action Fest, see their website.
