The Asheville Downtown Association will host its annual State of Downtown Asheville luncheon Thursday, Jan. 8, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Asheville Civic Center banquet room.
“Our goal for the State of Downtown Luncheon is to bring together downtown stakeholders and talk about where we are, what’s important and what our priorities are going into 2009,” association Chairman Joe Eckert said in a press release.
Speakers will include, Eckert, 2008 chair of the Asheville Downtown Commission Pat Whalen and Mayor Terry Bellamy.
