One king to rule them all: Best Of voting has begun

Hear ye; hear ye!

Starting at noon on Tuesday, April 7, residents, visitors and the noblemen and women of Western North Carolina may cast their votes in a democratic election, naming the kings and queens of the annual Mountain Xpress Best Of Awards.

Once the votes are tallied, Xpress will crown the winners, the rulers of the categories. From new picks like “best doughnuts,” “best homebrewer” and “best cheap thrill” to old favorites like “best bookstore,” “best hiking trail” and “best local painter,” your vote counts, as the winners will reign over the WNC scene for all of 2015 (and into 2016!).

Let the kingdom in on your favorites — your favorite bike shop, your favorite tattoo artist, your favorite dog park, your favorite cheeseburger.

Voting runs now through Tuesday, May 5, so don’t miss out on the chance to support your local favorites.
