Forget paying taxes

I think, with the government giving so much of our money to AIG and the banks and other greedy large and irresponsible companies, that we should just stop paying our taxes. They may put us in jail for doing so, but then we would at least have housing and food and electricity—which many of us can’t afford anymore.

Politicians have destroyed this country from within. They are all guilty of treason. My retirement fund has been wiped out. Damn them all.

  1. dear Lloyd,

you and others might like to learn about the unalienable right of We the People to WITHHOLD all money from the US Government if/when it refuses to address legitimate Petitions for Redress of Grievances.

for a brief overview, visit this website and watch the 2 part 15 minute video:

    http://www.givemeliberty.org/revolution/

these were recorded sometime in 2008, but they will give you a brief overview about the Petitions for Redress of Grievances lawsuits brought up before Congress and the Supreme Court, and the legal right of We the People to withhold support of tyrannical government when it refuses to answer these Petitions which are an unalienable right as guaranteed by the last 10 words of the First Amendment.

if you find this interesting, then please go to the following link to hear a more recent and detailed presentation by Bob Schulz when he was here in Asheville on his Continental Congress 2009 Promotional Tour. i edited the presentation down to 80 minutes:

    http://sites.google.com/site/wethepeoplenc/files

The 80 minute audio file (”CC2009_Asheville_1.29.09.16.mp3″) is the Continental Congress 2009 promotional tour with Bob Schulz of We the People, recorded in Asheville, NC on Thursday, Jan 29. It covers the history of our unalienable Right to Petition for Redress of Grievances as guaranteed by the “accountability clause” of the First Amendment, the recent lawsuits and failure of Federal Government response in all three branches, and the apparent need for a CC2009.

if this inspires you to get more involved, then you can go to the Continental Congress 2009 – NC Delegation Facebook group to help in the nomination process for the CC2009. so far, we only have one person nominated to represent NC and we need more!

PLEASE help spread the word about this movement to mandate the Federal Government finally begin to obey the law — THANKS!

  2. Thanks Bernard.

The anti-capitalist corporate bailouts are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to over-reaching government intervention, intrusion and down-right illegality.

I will be joining you for the Tax Day Protest.

BTW, speaking of the idea to “forget paying taxes”, i’m glad Tim brought up the annual Tax Day Protest & Tea Party this April 15th.

for years, various individuals and groups who have been discovering more truths about the deceptive “Income Tax” & Internal Revenue Code have been spending their April 15ths at the downtown AVL Post Office handing out various bits of literature on the subject to folks mailing their “voluntary” tax forms.

i have personally represented the Libertarian Party of Buncombe County, FairTax, and in recent years, the We the People Foundation (www.GiveMeLiberty.org).

joining us this year will be the “Asheville Tea Party”, which is yet another new non-partisan group of folks who believe the government should OBEY the law and NOT give public money to corporations and other private interests. the Asheville Tea Party will be held between 4:30-7PM at Pritchard Park. for more info, visit their website @ http://ashevilleteaparty.wordpress.com.

as usual, we’ll have folks at the Downtown AVL PO most of the entire day handing out various pieces of anti-Income Tax informative and educational literature.

i hope individuals from all the various anti-Income Tax groups will join together this year for a very special Tax Day Strike ’09 & Tea Party in support of our common goals to end tyranny and oppression in America!

  4. Tax Day Strike ’09 — ALTERNATE LINK

for some reason, the link i provided above for the Tax Day Strike ’09 flier is not working properly. here is an alternate link:

on this site, you can download both the Tax Day Strike ’09 .pdf flier AND the 80 minute audio file of the Continental Congress 2009 Promotional Tour with Bob Schulz of We the People, recorded in Asheville, NC on Thursday, Jan 29.

It covers the history of our unalienable Right to Petition for Redress of Grievances as guaranteed by the “accountability clause” of the First Amendment, the recent lawsuits including the failure of Federal Government response in all three branches, and the apparent need for a CC2009.

  5. In March 2008, [tax cheat Timothy F. Geithner] arranged the rescue and sale of Bear Stearns; in the same year, he is believed to have played a pivotal role in both the decision to bail out AIG as well as the government decision not to save Lehman Brothers from bankruptcy. As a Treasury official, he helped manage multiple international crises of the 1990s in Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea and Thailand

  6. Piffy!

I think a credit card strike might be more appropriate for some of you.

Start living within your means, and stop assuming you can retire in comfort. It aint gonna happen.

I wonder, how many of you were up in arms about a trillion dollar illegal war, that your great grandchildren will still be paying off when they are your age.

You guys might want to do something useful this weekend. Go help stamp out landmines somewhere.

  8. by “you guys”, do you mean Americans who advocate the Federal Government obey the law, and be held accountable when they do not?

i second Tim Peck in asking why the personal attacks?

i’m merely speaking out on behalf of We the People who believe government should be held accountable for its actions, and be held accountable to the rule of law… just like ANY American.

Uhh, Sorry to step on toes. It’s never an argument or personal. It’s a discussion. Lets not “Rush” to any conclusions. I haven’t paid any tax, none, zero, for the last two years. I do remember the Hon. Zorro Guice sentencing “Alexander” to 30 days for contempt when he claimed the Judge had no authority over him for failure to pay his taxes. Some sort of Posse-Commitas B.S.

  10. Piffy!

    >>”I haven’t paid any tax, none, zero, for the last two years.”<< You havent bought a single thing over the counter in two years? Sales tax is a tax, ma'am/sir.

  11. Piffy!

“”I haven’t paid any tax, none, zero, for the last two years””

You do know that sales tax is a tax, right?

Do you really mean to say you havent purchased anything that required you to pay a sales tax in over two years?! If so, congratulations!
