President Barack Obama spoke to hundreds of workers and local political figures Wednesday on the production floor of south Asheville's Linamar facility. Following up Tuesday night's State of the Union address, the President reiterated a focus on strengthening the American middle class through job growth, using the engine manufacturer as an exemplary success story. Part of a two-hour visit to Asheville, the event was closed to the public.
